ISD 622 Community Education has teamed up with Learning Resources Network (LERN) to offer you the UGotClass series of online courses and certificates. These courses allow you to learn and collaborate with experts in their respective fields from the comfort of your home or office. UGotClass instructors regularly log in to the virtual classroom to engage in discussions with you, share audio-visual presentations, and provide helpful readings. You have a wide range of options for courses and certificate programs, covering categories such as Business, Business Communication, Human Resources, Leadership, Management, New Media Marketing, Social Media for Business, Technology Skills, Training and Education, and Training for K–12 Teachers. With over 100 online course topics and 30 certificate programs available, there's something for everyone. Participating in an online course is easy. After you register, you will receive an email with a web address to your online classroom. You will create a password and use your email address and password to gain access. The online classroom is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no live real-time requirements or meetings, so you can decide when to participate. The course content, including readings, audio lectures, slides, and self-quizzes, is available for the entire duration of the course, allowing you to work ahead or review the material at your convenience. Registration paperwork is found at www.isd622.org/screening Though we find daytime appointments the best time to screen young children, if these weekday times do not work for you or your child, please call 651-702-8468 and we will find a time that works for your family! Early Childhood Screening is for children ages 3-5 and is FREE. Minnesota state law requires that all children participate in Early Childhood Screening before entering public kindergartens. Some private schools also require it. You should still enroll for Kindergarten or Pre-school if the screening appointment is further out. A screening appointment is required to take place within their first 90 days of District 622 PreK. This FREE service provides an early look at your child’s development and is good for you and your child! Your child will complete developmental activities with a trained screener and his/her height, weight, vision, and hearing will be checked. You will review your child’s developmental and medical history. You may also be encouraged in these fun, yet emotional years and learn of useful community resources for you and your child.

**Due to a shortage of staffing, open swim will not be held Fall 2024. Please check back for the winter session starting in January!** Open swim allows swimmers of all ages to practice newly learned skills, exercise or just play and have fun!
