What’s a Sewing Machine Bobbin?

Do you have a sewing machine but don’t have a clue how to use it? Join us for this fun, informative class where you’ll come away with an understanding of machine set-up and operation as well as tips to get you started on your sewing journey. We’ll test out essential sewing accessories, learn about a variety of woven and knit fabrics, and practice a variety of stitches. Class ends with a field trip where we’ll learn how to navigate a fabric store. $5 supply fee paid to the instructor in the first class. Fused Glass Ornaments
Arts

Make three darling fused glass ornaments. Participants will build and decorate a Christmas tree, Santa Claus and Holiday wreath ornaments. You will embellish your designs with dichroic glass, glass stringer, and glass pebbles. All glass and tools needed will be supplied. No experience needed. Once done, your creation will be fired by the instructor (7-10 days required). Participants will pick up their ornaments from the instructor’s home. There is an additional $20 fee payable to the instructor in class. If time allows additional ornaments can be made for an additional fee. For Classes at Skyview Park in the south lot and enter through door 6, signs indicate Activities Entrance.
