Epic Connection is a summer program for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
SHORT TEST F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.

Turn your favorite old wool sweater (or one rescued from the thrift store) into mittens that are sure to keep the wearer cozy and warm this winter. Smittens make great gifts for people of all ages! Basic sewing skills required. An additional supply fee of $5 is payable to the instructor for the pattern.

Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
