Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.

This medium is very special. It's not like any other art form. It’s so exciting to watch the inks move & flow & it happens right in your hands! Anyone can do it…no need to have experience. Each painting is totally unique, bright & powerful. I'll walk you through the steps to beautiful vibrant paintings. We'll also be creating doodle flowers. We'll be using the inks on Yupo paper as well as tiles for amazing effects! We'll also be experimenting with different brands of inks and ink markers & gold foil. All supplies included! Come & have fun with colors & free flow painting. You'll take home many little gems of paintings as well as some on tiles!

Park in the main lot on Manton St and enter through door 1E. The gym is to the right of the lobby and the classrooms are down the first hallway on the left.
Julie Schroeder has taught watercolors nationally & internationally. She has also has developed programs and taught workshops in the Canadian Arctic. Her work is currently featured at Kelley Gallery in Woodbury. She has shown in solo exhibits, group shows at art galleries, and museums throughout the country as well as exhibiting in National and International Juried Exhibits.
