Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.

If you know how to use a sewing machine, but are lost when it comes to reading and following a sewing pattern, this class is for you. Learn how to understand envelope information as well as the ins and outs of pattern piece layout and cutting. From start to finish, Sandra will guide you through a step-by-step process that will demystify pattern directions. Leave class with a good start on aa sewing project.

Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
