Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.

Adults with Disabilities Program
Have you seen quilts and wondered how they're made? It starts with quilt blocks. Come learn how to make four quilt blocks including the Ohio Star, Fence Rail, Nine Patch, and Pin Wheel. Leave with ideas on how to make your blocks into mug rugs or a wall hanging. Basic sewing skills required. A $20 supply fee is payable to instructor in class. Sandra Bengtson

Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
