Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.
Adults with Disabilities Program
Whoo, whoo, who wants to learn about owls? Attend a nature class at Maplewood Nature Center to learn about the fascinating raptor, the owl! Those interested can even try a night hike led by a naturalist and call to the owls… they just might answer back!
This class is designed for adults with disabilities, their caregivers, family, and friends. Participants must be able to attend to their own personal care needs or have a caregiver with them. Caregivers are asked to provide support and need to register at no cost.

Kyle is a naturalist, educator, lifelong birder, and former National Park Ranger. In 2016, he founded Next Bend Birding Tours, providing bird/wildlife-watching excursions in Minnesota and beyond.
