Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.
Adults with Disabilities Program
Are you familiar with using your sewing machine but looking for a straightforward project to enhance your confidence and skills? You can choose from a variety of cotton fabrics and then create one or two simple projects, such as a bowl or cup cozy, an oven mitt, reusable gift bag or a pet bandana. There is a $10 supply fee to be paid to the instructor in class for fabric. Sandra Bengston

Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
