Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
F.L.I.G.H.T. will provide students with a wide variety of enrichment clubs, academic support, leadership opportunities and culturally affirming clubs.
Adults with Disabilities Program
It might still be summer to us, but to birds, fall migration is already underway. With plenty of bugs still around to feed these birds on their journeys south, we'll hope for an active morning with a good mix of breading species and migrants (many of which will look different now than they did in the spring)! Cost of the class is $15/adult; youth age 12 and up are welcome with an adult for $20. Any additional youth will be $5 each. Dress for the weather as class will be held outside at Oakdale Discovery Center.
Kyle is a naturalist, educator, lifelong birder, and former National Park Ranger. In 2016, he founded Next Bend Birding Tours, providing bird/wildlife-watching excursions in Minnesota and beyond.
