Whether you want to embellish a new clothing item or visually mend something you found at the thrift store, come explore the wonderful world of wearable embroidery. Learn how to transfer a pattern and then use a variety of embroidery stitches to add texture and color. $10 supply fee paid to instructor the first class.
Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
