Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.

Do you remember Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting series on PBS? This “wet-on-wet” painting technique is for all skill levels and those who have never painted before. Kristi will lead you step-by-step as you complete an entire oil painting in class. Discover your inner artist, or just learn a new technique!
The painting will change with every class. Instead of just being taught how to paint one painting, you will be learning skills you can apply to all your future paintings. Kristi’s first rule is everyone leaves with a pretty painting!
A supply fee of $20 per class is payable to the instructor in class. Bring a roll of paper towels to class for your own use. Kristi Nelson

Kristi is a certified Bob Ross instructor. She teaches classes in her studio in Hastings and now brings her talents to Community Education.
