Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for middle school students. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership.
Adults with Disabilities Program
Kick off the summer by creating a simple, yet eye-catching plant hanger that displays three natural or artificial plants. Hang it on a porch or shed or enjoy it in your home office or sunroom. A variety of subtle, colorful and whimsical canvas fabrics will be available for you to choose from. Basic sewing skills recommended. $25 supply fee paid to instructor.

Sandra Bengtson, owner of Avant Garb Fashions, was fortunate to learn how to sew by her mother at age eight. Decades later, Sandra’s passion for sewing has paved the way to fulfilling a lifelong dream; teaching others. As her mother did for her, Sandra is committed to spread her love of sewing. Sandra believes that providing a warm, inclusive classroom environment with fun and laughter, maximizes the learning experience and may even foster new friendships.
