Preventing Elder Financial Abuse NEW!

Adult Enrichment / Business, Education, Finance -
Summer 24

Elder financial abuse, also known as financial exploitation, refers to the unlawful or unauthorized use of an older adult's financial resources or assets for the benefit of someone other than the elderly person. This may involve fraud, theft, or deceitful acts to gain control over an aging person's money or property. In this class, you will learn about various kinds of financial abuse, how to identify the warning signs, and what steps to take when reporting and seeking assistance. This class is intended for older adults and their families. Vaughn Kavlie

For this class, park in the main lot on Manton St and enter through door 1E. The gym is to the right of the lobby and the classrooms are down the first hallway on the left.
