    Have a Cricut but unsure how to work it? Come learn the essential functions of this popular cutting tool. Leave class with a simple paper and vinyl project as well as the basic knowledge to start creating custom, professional- looking paper crafts, embellished apparel, home decor, and more.   • Custom Glass Mosaic Table or Sign

    Glass mosaic sounds like a fancy, difficult art form however in this class, you will learn how it can be fun, and easy while creating a 16"x16" table top or sign! Look through the idea book, browse the patterns and stencils, and choose from dozens of colors of precut glass. Signs come in a variety of sizes and ideas include Welcome, house number, last name, state of MN. There will be homework after the first evening. Supply fee due to instructor to cover supplies purchased in order to carry out the class. Table tops are 16"x16x16" tall and $70 each. Signs vary in size and range from $16-$40 each. Have fun as you cut, hand-sew, or glue together various colors and patterns uniquely you. Join us for this introductory class where you’ll learn 10 basic stitches including the Running, Back, Chain, and Blanket stitch, a French Knot, and more. Leave class with a completed project and the confidence to tackle hand embroidery on your own.     Discover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from the leaves of a henna tree, also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them. The instructor will fill in or finish your henna design and take-home henna cone. All the materials will be provided.   • Spring Butterflies Fused Glass

    Grab a friend and learn how to make two colorful fused glass butterflies (about 4.5 in. by 4 in.) Decorate your unique butterflies with specialties glass (dichroic, Murrine, stringers and more) The pieces will be fused and slumped after the class and then hangers added. Butterflies will be available for pick up 7-10 days after the class. All materials and tools are provided with a supply fee. The material fee is $20 payable to the instructor.     Do you remember Bob Ross’ Joy of Painting series on PBS? This “wet-on-wet” painting technique is for all skill levels and those who have never painted before. Kristi will lead you step-by-step as you complete an entire oil painting in class. Discover your inner artist, or just learn a new technique! The painting will change with every class. Instead of just being taught how to paint one painting, you will be learning skills you can apply to all your future paintings. Kristi’s first rule is everyone leaves with a pretty painting!
