    Adult Basic Education (ABE) programming is offered to all area residents at no cost. Courses include GED, English as a second language, citizenship, IT Careers, and a ParaPro study program.   • Adult Enrichment

    Learn something new every day! The District 622 Adult Enrichment program is a leader in providing educational opportunities that are close to home, affordable and top quality. NOTE: Due to the unpredictability of COVID-19 we are using a "Register Now Pay Later" procedure. You will not be charged for your class at the time of checkout, however you must enter payment information. Your credit/debit card or checking account will be charged 3 days prior to the class start date. You will be notified if this class is cancelled.
  • Adventure Connection

    Adventure Connection is a school-age care program with sites located in District 622 elementary school buildings. It is a convenient, safe and caring place for children before and after school, on non-school days and summers. Adventure Connection provides educational, enriching, recreational, and engaging experiences for children in grades K-5. During the summer, Adventure Connection consolidates to several sites and expands its services to include youth who have completed grades 6-8 through the Epic Summer program.

  • Aquatics (Swimming)

    Offering a variety of swimming programs year-round for people of all ages and abilities. Our exciting opportunities include swimming lessons, pool parties and open swim.

    Providing inclusive opportunities for adults with developmental cognitive disabilities to build and maintain friendships, learn, serve and become active members of the community.
  • District 622 Preschool

    3-year-old Preschool is a welcoming 2.5-hour program where your child gets the opportunity to explore, create and grow. Your child will build confidence, creativity, and skills as they participate in engaging, play-based exploration of academic concepts. We look forward to having your family join our District 622 Preschool family! Three-year-old Pre-K is offered at Beaver Lake Early learning center two or three mornings or afternoons per week.

  • ECFE Classes

    Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) classes are for parents and their children ages birth to 5 years old (before kindergarten). Classes help strengthen family relationships and provide information and resources to parents in their journey to help their children grow and develop to their maximum potential.
  • Early Childhood Screening

    Registration paperwork is found at www.isd622.org/screening Though we find daytime appointments the best time to screen young children, if these weekday times do not work for you or your child, please call 651-702-8468 and we will find a time that works for your family! Early Childhood Screening is for children ages 3-5 and is FREE. Minnesota state law requires that all children participate in Early Childhood Screening before entering public kindergartens. Some private schools also require it. You should still enroll for Kindergarten or Pre-school if the screening appointment is further out. A screening appointment is required to take place within their first 90 days of District 622 PreK. This FREE service provides an early look at your child’s development and is good for you and your child! Your child will complete developmental activities with a trained screener and his/her height, weight, vision, and hearing will be checked. You will review your child’s developmental and medical history. You may also be encouraged in these fun, yet emotional years and learn of useful community resources for you and your child.
  • Epic Connection

    Epic Connection is an after school opportunity for students at John Glenn and Skyview Middle School. It is a place for students to build a “life resume” by building friendships, building community connections, building knowledge, and building student leadership. We’ll do this through service learning, fun activities, and enriching educational opportunities, all while encouraging student voice to help shape the program.
